November 2026: The Month Nobody Is Off

November 2026 brings no public holiday to Hong Kong, Taiwan, the mainland or Korea. No holiday crowd, so the hour and the room are yours. Open 24 hours.

You turn the calendar to November and there is nothing on the page in red. No long weekend, no long weekend to lean on, every square the same white as the one beside it. If you are still deciding whether to come over, this is the month you do not wait for a holiday: you circle a square, any square, and that is the day.

In other months we tell you how to get around the crowd, which afternoon is empty and which night is full. November needs no telling. Hong Kong has no holiday, and neither do Taiwan, the mainland or South Korea; Japan is the only one with a public holiday left, and its last of the year falls in this month. You are not getting around anyone. This month there is nobody to get around.

MarketNovember 2026
Hong KongNo general holiday
TaiwanNo public holiday
Mainland ChinaNo statutory holiday
South KoreaNo public holiday; the university entrance exam is mid-month
JapanTwo national holidays; 23 November is the last of 2026

You send one message, a phone that has been quiet for a month rings once, and that day is yours. Off the ferry or off the plane, the private car is waiting outside, both ways. Your two in-house add-ons are free, and you pick them once you are there. Up on the fourth floor of the Landmark, your bag goes in the locker, nobody is waiting at the counter ahead of you, and you never have to mime anything.

You walk in during the afternoon. Therapists are on from one o’clock, so the hour you want is the hour you get. Nobody has disturbed the surface of the hot pool; the first ripple is yours. Out of the steam, the lounge recliners sit in an empty row, the one at the end or the one in the middle, whichever you like. The therapist who usually cannot free up until after nine still has nothing on the sheet at seven this month, so soak first and treatment after, or the other way round, either fits. You lie back, and outside it is a November evening with no holiday in it. What is good about November is this kind of quiet: the floor feels as if it were opened for you alone.

Dark does not change the place. Therapists are on until six in the morning, so if one treatment turns into two, you say so to the therapist and that is all. The venue is open around the clock; you are not watching the time and nobody is coming to remind you of it. If you want to sleep here, the lobby rest area is free, and if you would rather have a door that closes, a private rest room can be added for a fee. Your bag is already in the locker. Tomorrow can wait until you wake up.

There is one stretch of November we flag ahead of time: the Macau Grand Prix, 19 to 22 November. The city has engines in it for those days and hotel rooms run tighter. If you would rather miss it, either end of the month is yours; if you want to catch the racing, come anyway and the car and your time are arranged just the same.

In a quiet month, only two questions are left on the phone.

“I only have one afternoon. Is that enough?” Yes. Therapists start at one, so you arrive at two, shower, take the steam, have one treatment, and you are out before dark.

“Is November cheaper?” No, and it does not need to be. The 2026 prices are the same all year, sauna admission MOP 1,199, packages MOP 3,399 to 7,499, plus a 10% service charge, with the current menu confirmed when you book. What November saves you is not money. It is waiting.

You do not have to decide everything at once. Which day, how many of you, whether you are staying the night, roughly what you want to spend: one WhatsApp message. Circle your square, send it over, and the reply comes back fast.
