About the venue

Japanese calm, Chinese detailing

YU SAUNA occupies the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, on the Macau peninsula, in an interior completed in 2025. A hinoki dry sauna and a glass steam room anchor the bathing areas, while a Chinese wooden lattice corridor hung with red lanterns runs through the whole venue, so the two idioms sit side by side on one floor.

The rooms are generous, the lighting warm, and nothing about the place is showy. Every treatment happens in a private room with its own bathtub. For a guest visiting a Macau sauna for the first time from Hong Kong, it is an easy venue to walk into without having to learn the conventions first.

Four points

Why guests from Hong Kong choose it

A genuinely new fit-out

Opened on 26 August 2026, in an interior completed in 2025. The equipment and furnishings are new rather than inherited from years of service.

The shortest run from the terminals

It sits in the heart of NAPE, about 2 km from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and about 1 km from Macau Fisherman's Wharf. Whether you arrive by ferry or over the bridge, it is one short transfer away.

Open around the clock

The venue is open 24 hours, so a late ferry or a night crossing still works. Therapists are on duty from 13:00 until 06:00 the following day.

Three perks when you book here

Booking through this site comes with a free consultation, two complimentary add-on treatments, and free transfers anywhere in Macau.

Facilities

Bathing to treatment, all on one floor

Dry sauna, steam room, hot pool, private treatment rooms and lounges sit on the same level, linked by the lattice corridor.

YU SAUNA hinoki cypress dry sauna room with tiered wooden benches and warm lighting

Hinoki dry sauna

A dry sauna lined in hinoki cypress, with a steady temperature and a clear scent of wood. The tiered benches let you pick your own heat, which makes this the natural first stop after you change.

YU SAUNA glass-walled steam room filled with steam

Glass steam room

A steam room enclosed in clear glass, generous with steam yet open in outlook. Alternating between this and the dry sauna gives the full hot-and-cold rhythm.

YU SAUNA hot pool hall with Chinese wooden lattice screens and a round window

Hot pool hall

The hot pool hall is framed by Chinese wooden lattice and a round window, water and joinery answering each other. The high ceiling keeps the pool from feeling enclosed, and this is the room the venue is best known for.

Lattice corridor

The wooden lattice corridor with its red lanterns runs the length of the venue. It is where the Japanese calm meets the Chinese detailing, and it is the spine that connects every area.

YU SAUNA private treatment room with a massage bed and warm indirect lighting

Private treatment room

Every treatment takes place in a private room, each with its own bathtub, so bathing and massage happen in one space with no walking between them.

YU SAUNA wet treatment room with an in-room bathtub and massage area

Wet treatment room

A treatment room built around its bathtub, for guests who prefer to soak first. The wet area and the treatment area are clearly separated within the room.

YU SAUNA recliner lounge with rows of loungers under soft lighting

Recliner lounge

Rows of recliners under deliberately low lighting. Use it between bathing sessions, or while you wait for your arrangements.

YU SAUNA private booth seating enclosed in dark timber

Private booth

Booth seating enclosed in dark timber, suited to parties of two or three and noticeably quieter than the open seating.
