Say you take Friday off and come over from Hong Kong to watch the Macau Grand Prix. By evening there is really only one decision left: do you rush for the last ferry back to Hong Kong, or not? That night, you do not have to. Stay in Macau, spend the evening at YU SAUNA, and think about the ferry on Saturday morning.
Skip the ferry and stay at YU SAUNA until morning
This year’s Grand Prix is the 73rd, held from 19 to 22 November 2026, and Friday 20 November is qualifying day. YU SAUNA is on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, Macau. Inside, a calm Japanese style is mixed with Chinese touches, the space is generous and the lighting is warm, and there is a hot pool hall, a Japanese hinoki dry sauna and a glass steam room. The venue is open 24 hours, and the lounge is free, so after your session you can rest on a recliner right through to morning. If you would rather have a door you can close, there are also private rest rooms at an extra charge, with prices and times confirmed when you book.
The manager brings the therapists out, and you tell him your choice
The therapists work from 13:00 to 06:00 the next morning, so on Friday evening they are all on shift. Choosing starts with the package: Entry, Popular or Premium, and you settle on one with the manager. You took a whole day off to be here, so this is a night to treat yourself to the Premium package. The manager then asks the therapists on shift to come out one at a time and meet you in person. Once you have met them all, tell the manager which one you felt a connection with.
First time here: what the hour is
The hour takes place one to one in a private massage room at YU SAUNA, with the therapist you chose. Where she starts and where she goes next is hers to arrange. All you have to do is lie down.
With no ferry to catch tonight, the sailing times on your phone can wait until morning, and what is left is this hour and her. Sixty minutes, one to one, and nobody watching the clock, with the whole night still ahead of you on the recliner afterwards. Is it worth missing the last ferry for? Ask anyone who has been to YU SAUNA: they say yes.
Two add-ons, chosen on the recliner
After the hour, a different masseuse gives you two add-on services on a recliner in the lounge. There are eight on the list, and you pick both once you are on the recliner.
How do I get back to Hong Kong on Saturday morning?
When you book, tell us whether you plan to go back by ferry or across the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge. In the morning the car collects you at YU SAUNA and takes you to the ferry terminal or the bridge port, and it covers all of Macau.
Leave the night to us
When you book with us, the private car is free: when you come over from Hong Kong on Friday, our car will be waiting for you at the ferry terminal or the border crossing, and the ride back is arranged in advance. The two add-on services on the recliner are free too, for bookings made through us only, and you choose them once you are there. If you would like to try a Macau sauna on Grand Prix Friday, send us the date, the number of people, a pick-up point and the package you have in mind through a note on the contact page. The consultation is free, and we will arrange the rest. This time, let the last ferry leave without you.
