On Your Feet All Next Saturday, So Spend This Sunday at YU SAUNA

Halloween is Saturday 31 October. If you have promised friends in Hong Kong you will stay until the party ends, come over to Macau the Sunday before: the hot pool and hinoki sauna at YU SAUNA in NAPE, then an hour that loosens your hips and thighs first. A Macau sauna introduction for Hong Kong readers.

If someone in your Hong Kong group chat has been posting a countdown every day, by this Sunday it will read “six days to go”. Next Saturday is Halloween, the party is in Hong Kong, and you have promised your friends you will stay until the end, which usually means being on your feet from nightfall until the last guests leave. This Sunday is still free. Come over to Macau, spend it at YU SAUNA, and let the legs that have to last that whole night loosen up six days ahead of the party.

YU SAUNA in NAPE, where the hot pool and the hinoki warm you through

YU SAUNA is on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel in NAPE, Macau, about 2 km from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. On Sunday 25 October, the Sunday before Halloween, it is open 24 hours, as it is every day. Inside there is a hot pool hall, a Japanese hinoki dry sauna and a glass steam room. The hot water and the dry heat of the hinoki warm you through from the inside out, which is a comfortable way to start before you meet the therapists.

The manager brings the therapists to you

At YU SAUNA you tell the manager which package you would like, and the manager brings the therapists on shift to meet you, introducing them one by one. On a first visit, one of the Entry packages is a natural place to start. If you want to make more of the Sunday, ask for a Premium package. Choosing needs no special reason: meet them, and pick the one you feel most at ease with.

The legs that carry next Saturday, in her hands for an hour first

For the hour it is just the two of you, in a private massage room. If the pressure feels too light or too firm, just tell her, and she will change it whenever you like. You can chat with her, or close your eyes and stay quiet.

The massage ends with a last pass of oil, then she wipes you clean with a hot towel, and you never have to get up. Six days before the party, the legs that will stand from nightfall to the finish have already been worked warm and loose, so good that you will not want to move.

Two more, on a recliner

After the hour, a different masseuse gives you two add-on services on a recliner in the lounge. You choose them once you are on the recliner, from a list of eight that includes a back scrub, ear cleaning and nail care.

Three things people ask before they come over

  • Q: I have to be back at work in Hong Kong early on Monday. If I come over on Sunday afternoon, will the therapists be there? A: Yes. As of October 2026, the therapists’ shift runs from 13:00 to 06:00 the following morning, so on a Sunday afternoon they are already in.
  • Q: Coming from Hong Kong, where can the car pick me up? A: At the ferry terminal where you arrive, or wherever you are staying in Macau. It covers all of Macau, and the ride back is arranged in advance.
  • Q: What gets added to the price? A: As of October 2026, a 10% service charge is added to everything. Package prices are on the price page, and the details can be checked when you book. Prices follow the actual menu and may vary by item, duration and time of day. Ask our team for the latest quote when you book.

Leave this Sunday with us

When you book with us, the private car costs nothing, and the two add-on services on the recliner are free too (for bookings made through us only). If you would like to try a Macau sauna before Halloween, tell us the day, how many of you are coming, where you are staying in Macau or where you will come off the ferry, and the package you have in mind, and we will arrange the rest. Just leave us a note on the contact page. The countdown in the group chat will keep ticking down day by day, and by this Sunday your legs will already be ready.
